They That Wait is a personal reflection and guide for new believers on the journey to living a Godly life. I'm not going to give a review per se as I'm not a member of the target audience (non-believers and new believers) and I know the author personally, so any review I give will undoubtedly be biased. The book features sections on the struggles and triumphs of abstinence, financial management, getting rid of extra baggage, finding your purpose, and more. At the end of each chapter, the reader is given a series of questions designed to help them reflect on their own situations and connections to the chapter's topic. Ms. Ragin tells the story of how when her plan for life (married with children by the age of 25) didn't succeed, she became closer to God and learned to wait on His plan, instead. If you want to know more about the experiences of someone living their life for God, are a struggling new believer, or simply curious, check out They That Wait by Faneisha Ragin.
