Two tons of everything I've ever known
Balanced upon my back,
Perching, Waiting, Crushing...This heaviness is an ancient feeling--
Settling first in my limbs,
Then slowly creepy to my mind...
Simple tasks become difficult
And every emotion overpowering
As though my body were waging war.
How until this burden is lifted?
