Me seeing you, You seeing me
But never seeing each other--
Empty promises and unfit lies...
Words draining from somewhere cold?
Will you ever care for me,
...as if I mattered
Respect and protect me--
Who am I to you?
You to me?

My voice falls on deaf ears
And I'm tired of yelling,
Knowing you'll never hear...
I don't want to be silent,
But I don't want to fight.
...anymore.
Can I just get this out?
Discomfort put aside,
I'm home.
